A psychologist or other licensed mental health professional can work with you in developing a range of techniques for changing your thinking and your behavior.
When you talk to a prospective therapist, tell her or him that you have problems with anger that you want to work on, and ask about his or her approach to anger management. Make sure this isn't only a course of action designed to "put you in touch with your feelings and express them"—that may be precisely what your problem is. With counseling, psychologists say, a highly angry person can move closer to a middle range of anger in about 8 to 10 weeks, depending on the circumstances and the techniques used to manage anger.

What About Assertiveness Training?
It's true that angry people need to learn to become assertive (rather than aggressive), but most books and courses on developing assertiveness are aimed at people who don't feel enough anger. These people are more passive and acquiescent than the average person; they tend to let others walk all over them. That isn't something that most angry people do. Still, these books can contain some useful tactics to use in frustrating situations.
Remember, you can't eliminate anger—and it wouldn't be a good idea if you could. In spite of all your efforts, things will happen that will cause you anger; and sometimes it will be justifiable anger. Life will be filled with frustration, pain, loss, and the unpredictable actions of others. You can't change that; but you can change the way you let such events affect you. Controlling your angry responses can keep them from making you even more unhappy in the long run.

Anger Management Psychotherapy

Anger Management Psychotherapy

When we get angry, we often find a method to deal with the stress that followed anger. But some of us have no way to deal with our anger. An accurate strategy I used to deal with anger is controlling the situation when the opportunity comes about. If someone intends to hurt me, it depends on the situation but I got resources, therefore I turn those to good use. When I feel sometimes, I rest inside my mind, discover a peaceful area, and talk to myself. I often get humor whether it is ironic, ridiculous dark, humorous, or what you get.

Anything that makes me laugh often relieves the stress my body and mind feels when I am angry. Blowing up at the source that made us angry is not the answer. This only creates a more difficult problem. Therefore, if you have a problem with anger you might want to go to anger management where psychotherapy is available. Anger management helps a person to get in contact with his or her mind. It helps them to see that anger is the root of emotions that are out of control. It also helps the person to see that anger can be controlled if you learn behavior strategies to modify your attitude.

If you have problems with anger, you might have an underlying situation, which includes mental illness, alcohol or drugs. Do you drink heavily? If so this affects the body, mind, and will make it difficult to manage your anger when you are threatened or feel as though someone let you down. If you are taking drugs, you may want to consider that drugs can cause great harm to both your mind and body and enhance your mood, making it easier for you to explode when you are anger. Drugs never help, they only cause more harm.

If you have mental illness, you might want to consult with an expert in the mental health industry to learn more about your problem. Symptoms are a part of mental illness and anger is one of the many signs that mental illness includes. Not every personality disorder has anger problems, but many of the mental ill do. The symptoms may include inability to comprehend, which often causes anger to erupt since the person has difficulty understanding the person speaking with them. Another symptom in mental illness that causes anger is voices outside the head.

If you are hearing those negative voices telling you that someone is going to kill you, or instructing you to kill someone you love it can drive a person mad. Hallucination is another symptom in mental illness that can make a person deranged or angry. When you are seeing things that do not exist, yet appear real, it makes you angry inside when the symptoms subside and you find that you are out in left field. Delusions can also trick the emotions and make us feel out of control. When a person does not have control of his or her being, it often frustrates the person, making them angry.

Anger is also created when person’s behaviors are criminal, or potentially criminal oriented. If you have a compulsive lying habit then it often degrades your being and makes you angry. You might blow up at someone for simple words, but the source that made you angry is no one but your self. Likewise, if you are thief it is also degrading and will only dehumanize and deprive you of the ability to control your emotions. If you are experiencing any of the listed sources of anger then anger management is a great start to dealing with your emotions and anger.

Anger management is a form of psychotherapy that offers you the tools to learn behavior and control anger. The systematic problem can help you to learn to associate with others without blowing your fuse. If you have difficulty, speaking up then anger management will guide you through the steps to recovery. You will address your problems, learn how to manage them, and learn how to function as a healthy person in society. Anger is good, but when it becomes a problem then anger management is the solution to success.

Strategis to Manage Anger

Strategies To Keep Anger At Bay

Relaxation

Simple relaxation tools, such as deep breathing and relaxing imagery, can help calm down angry feelings. There are books and courses that can teach you relaxation techniques, and once you learn the techniques, you can call upon them in any situation. If you are involved in a relationship where both partners are hot-tempered, it might be a good idea for both of you to learn these techniques.

Some simple steps you can try:

Breathe deeply, from your diaphragm; breathing from your chest won't relax you. Picture your breath coming up from your "gut."

Slowly repeat a calm word or phrase such as "relax," "take it easy." Repeat it to yourself while breathing deeply.

Use imagery; visualize a relaxing experience, from either your memory or your imagination.

Nonstrenuous, slow yoga-like exercises can relax your muscles and make you feel much calmer.
Practice these techniques daily. Learn to use them automatically when you're in a tense situation.

Cognitive Restructuring

Simply put, this means changing the way you think. Angry people tend to curse, swear, or speak in highly colorful terms that reflect their inner thoughts. When you're angry, your thinking can get very exaggerated and overly dramatic. Try replacing these thoughts with more rational ones. For instance, instead of telling yourself, "oh, it's awful, it's terrible, everything's ruined," tell yourself, "it's frustrating, and it's understandable that I'm upset about it, but it's not the end of the world and getting angry is not going to fix it anyhow."

Logic defeats anger, because anger, even when it's justified, can quickly become irrational. So use cold hard logic on yourself. Remind yourself that the world is "not out to get you," you're just experiencing some of the rough spots of daily life. Do this each time you feel anger getting the best of you, and it'll help you get a more balanced perspective. Angry people tend to demand things: fairness, appreciation, agreement, willingness to do things their way. Everyone wants these things, and we are all hurt and disappointed when we don't get them, but angry people demand them, and when their demands aren't met, their disappointment becomes anger. As part of their cognitive restructuring, angry people need to become aware of their demanding nature and translate their expectations into desires. In other words, saying, "I would like" something is healthier than saying, "I demand" or "I must have" something. When you're unable to get what you want, you will experience the normal reactions—frustration, disappointment, hurt—but not anger. Some angry people use this anger as a way to avoid feeling hurt, but that doesn't mean the hurt goes away.

Problem Solving

Sometimes, our anger and frustration are caused by very real and inescapable problems in our lives. Not all anger is misplaced, and often it's a healthy, natural response to these difficulties. There is also a cultural belief that every problem has a solution, and it adds to our frustration to find out that this isn't always the case. The best attitude to bring to such a situation, then, is not to focus on finding the solution, but rather on how you handle and face the problem.

Make a plan, and check your progress along the way. Resolve to give it your best, but also not to punish yourself if an answer doesn't come right away. If you can approach it with your best intentions and efforts and make a serious attempt to face it head-on, you will be less likely to lose patience and fall into all-or-nothing thinking, even if the problem does not get solved right away.

Better Communication

Angry people tend to jump to—and act on—conclusions, and some of those conclusions can be very inaccurate. The first thing to do if you're in a heated discussion is slow down and think through your responses. Don't say the first thing that comes into your head, but slow down and think carefully about what you want to say. At the same time, listen carefully to what the other person is saying and take your time before answering.

Listen, too, to what is underlying the anger. For instance, you like a certain amount of freedom and personal space, and your "significant other" wants more connection and closeness. If he or she starts complaining about your activities, don't retaliate by painting your partner as a jailer, a warden, or an albatross around your neck.

It's natural to get defensive when you're criticized, but don't fight back. Instead, listen to what's underlying the words: the message that this person might feel neglected and unloved. It may take a lot of patient questioning on your part, and it may require some breathing space, but don't let your anger—or a partner's—let a discussion spin out of control. Keeping your cool can keep the situation from becoming a disastrous one.

Using Humor

The underlying message of highly angry people, Dr. Deffenbacher says, is "things oughta go my way!" Angry people tend to feel that they are morally right, that any blocking or changing of their plans is an unbearable indignity and that they should NOT have to suffer this way. Maybe other people do, but not them!

When you feel that urge, he suggests, picture yourself as a god or goddess, a supreme ruler, who owns the streets and stores and office space, striding alone and having your way in all situations while others defer to you. The more detail you can get into your imaginary scenes, the more chances you have to realize that maybe you are being unreasonable; you'll also realize how unimportant the things you're angry about really are. There are two cautions in using humor. First, don't try to just "laugh off" your problems; rather, use humor to help yourself face them more constructively. Second, don't give in to harsh, sarcastic humor; that's just another form of unhealthy anger expression.

What these techniques have in common is a refusal to take yourself too seriously. Anger is a serious emotion, but it's often accompanied by ideas that, if examined, can make you laugh.

Changing Your Environment to slow down your anger

Sometimes it's our immediate surroundings that give us cause for irritation and fury. Problems and responsibilities can weigh on you and make you feel angry at the "trap" you seem to have fallen into and all the people and things that form that trap.

Give yourself a break. Make sure you have some "personal time" scheduled for times of the day that you know are particularly stressful. One example is the working mother who has a standing rule that when she comes home from work, for the first 15 minutes "nobody talks to Mom unless the house is on fire." After this brief quiet time, she feels better prepared to handle demands from her kids without blowing up at them.

Anger Management

More About Anger Management

Anger Management

The goal of anger management is to reduce both your emotional feelings and the physiological arousal that anger causes. You can't get rid of, or avoid, the things or the people that enrage you, nor can you change them, but you can learn to control your reactions.

Are You Too Angry?

There are psychological tests that measure the intensity of angry feelings, how prone to anger you are, and how well you handle it. But chances are good that if you do have a problem with anger, you already know it. If you find yourself acting in ways that seem out of control and frightening, you might need help finding better ways to deal with this emotion.

Why Are Some People More Angry Than Others?

According to Jerry Deffenbacher, PhD, a psychologist who specializes in anger management, some people really are more "hotheaded" than others are; they get angry more easily and more intensely than the average person does. There are also those who don't show their anger in loud spectacular ways but are chronically irritable and grumpy. Easily angered people don't always curse and throw things; sometimes they withdraw socially, sulk, or get physically ill.

People who are easily angered generally have what some psychologists call a low tolerance for frustration, meaning simply that they feel that they should not have to be subjected to frustration, inconvenience, or annoyance. They can't take things in stride, and they're particularly infuriated if the situation seems somehow unjust: for example, being corrected for a minor mistake.

What makes these people this way? A number of things. One cause may be genetic or physiological: There is evidence that some children are born irritable, touchy, and easily angered, and that these signs are present from a very early age. Another may be sociocultural. Anger is often regarded as negative; we're taught that it's all right to express anxiety, depression, or other emotions but not to express anger. As a result, we don't learn how to handle it or channel it constructively.

Research has also found that family background plays a role. Typically, people who are easily angered come from families that are disruptive, chaotic, and not skilled at emotional communications.

Is It Good To "Let it All Hang Out?"

Psychologists now say that this is a dangerous myth. Some people use this theory as a license to hurt others. Research has found that "letting it rip" with anger actually escalates anger and aggression and does nothing to help you (or the person you're angry with) resolve the situation.

It's best to find out what it is that triggers your anger, and then to develop strategies to keep those triggers from tipping you over the edge.

What is Anger?

The Nature of Anger

Anger is "an emotional state that varies in intensity from mild irritation to intense fury and rage," according to Charles Spielberger, PhD, a psychologist who specializes in the study of anger. Like other emotions, it is accompanied by physiological and biological changes; when you get angry, your heart rate and blood pressure go up, as do the levels of your energy hormones, adrenaline, and noradrenaline.
Anger can be caused by both external and internal events. You could be angry at a specific person (Such as a coworker or supervisor) or event (a traffic jam, a canceled flight), or your anger could be caused by worrying or brooding about your personal problems. Memories of traumatic or enraging events can also trigger angry feelings.

Expressing Anger

The instinctive, natural way to express anger is to respond aggressively. Anger is a natural, adaptive response to threats; it inspires powerful, often aggressive, feelings and behaviors, which allow us to fight and to defend ourselves when we are attacked. A certain amount of anger, therefore, is necessary to our survival.
On the other hand, we can't physically lash out at every person or object that irritates or annoys us; laws, social norms, and common sense place limits on how far our anger can take us.
People use a variety of both conscious and unconscious processes to deal with their angry feelings. The three main approaches are expressing, suppressing, and calming. Expressing your angry feelings in an assertive—not aggressive—manner is the healthiest way to express anger. To do this, you have to learn how to make clear what your needs are, and how to get them met, without hurting others. Being assertive doesn't mean being pushy or demanding; it means being respectful of yourself and others.
Anger can be suppressed, and then converted or redirected. This happens when you hold in your anger, stop thinking about it, and focus on something positive. The aim is to inhibit or suppress your anger and convert it into more constructive behavior. The danger in this type of response is that if it isn't allowed outward expression, your anger can turn inward—on yourself. Anger turned inward may cause hypertension, high blood pressure, or depression.
Unexpressed anger can create other problems. It can lead to pathological expressions of anger, such as passive-aggressive behavior (getting back at people indirectly, without telling them why, rather than confronting them head-on) or a personality that seems perpetually cynical and hostile. People who are constantly putting others down, criticizing everything, and making cynical comments haven't learned how to constructively express their anger. Not surprisingly, they aren't likely to have many successful relationships.
Finally, you can calm down inside. This means not just controlling your outward behavior, but also controlling your internal responses, taking steps to lower your heart rate, calm yourself down, and let the feelings subside.
As Dr. Spielberger notes, "when none of these three techniques work, that's when someone—or something—is going to get hurt."

The Anger Interruptions

The Anger Interruptions

Interruptions is stopping or hindering, by applying in actions. Anger is an emotion that interrupts when a person is not pleased with someone or something. There are some motives a person can feel anger. However, when a person has no controlling anger problem, afterward in some cases there is no reasonable reason for the outbursts. One example can be seen when a child turns aggressive when his brother enters in his room.

The angered child might yell, cuss, call the younger child names, and even become violent attacking the child. The cause of his anger is unjustified to a degree; however, his behaviors appeared to everyone else that his reasoning was condemned. The child that violated his rights is ignored now, since the perpetrator is the angry person involved. If the child would have acted differently, then we could justify his reasoning for anger.

Now we are looking at unjustifiable and justifiable combined. However, when a person gets angry and attempts to kill another individual simply because this person refuses to be with the angry person, we know we are dealing with unjustifiable anger. We all get mad at times, and all of us lose control sometimes, but not all of us hurt others when our control is out of our hands. Anytime a person is violent, it is not always a result of anger. Some angry persons most likely have underlying mental illnesses. This is when we look at unjustifiable anger.

To deal with anger when a mental illness is involved we must first dig up some bones. In other words, anger management is not going to work until we find the source that caused the person to explode when angry. We can look at examples of one individual that exploded out of anger, attacking another individual because that person could not hear. We analyze both sides of the story carefully to see what resulted the angry interruption.

We can see that the child has mental illnesses, since he has been professional diagnosed. We know that this is an instigator of his behaviors. Now, the deaf woman was assaulted according to the person that assaulted because she could not hear. The fact is, this woman kept the child in her home for a few months and she was controlling. She would often get angry with him when he wanted to go home. The child obviously was abused mentally by her controlling behaviors. However, it was noted by an individual that child molestation might have been in the picture, which would increase his anger.

While this was never proven a series of patterns, fell into place, making it obvious. Therefore, although this child had mental illnesses, coupled with angry outbursts as a problem, he had a root and a justifiable cause. The proper way for this child to handle the situation is telling a trustworthy adult what was going on in the home. Instead, he struck the woman, claiming it was because she could not hear. The child went to court and was looked down on, and the system only displayed pity for the victim. Not in all cases does this occur, since the victims of violent crimes are often persecuted.

Now we can go back through the child’s history and see before this incident that he encountered other angry outbursts. Therefore, the act committed is totally on his shoulders. The problem is this child again has dangerous diagnosis that interrupts his ability to function in society. Therefore, to deal with his anger we must find the root of his diagnose and find a solution for dealing with the emotions involved, including all the areas that caused his anger to explode. We can look at another example were a child becomes aggressive and assaulting in school, attacking his teachers regularly.

The child was also diagnosed with mental illnesses, yet at school is where most of his behaviors displayed them selves. At times, his behaviors were justifiable, yet irresponsible, and at other times his behaviors was completely out of control. Since the child hears voices in his head it caused confusion when others would speak to him, and he felt everyone was persecuting him or out to get him. Now we are dealing with unjustifiable cause of anger explosion.

Relieving Negative Anger

Relieving Negative Anger

Anger is either negative or positive. When we are angry, we frequently leave from a problem or else handle it by shattering at the source. Anger is an emotion that either controls us or helps us to succeed in life. If we have negative feelings most likely when a threat hits our emotion, we will blow up. Some of us neglect others by beating, slapping, verbally assaulting, emotionally abusing, or punching walls or other barriers to utter our anger.

We can break this down and see that nothing but harm comes from these actions. If you are hitting or slapping another person, you will go to jail and that person may end up in the hospital. Once you hit the person, even if they do not go to the hospital the emotional scar will remain for years. Likewise, if you are punching walls, glass, or other obstacles it could cause harm to you. If you are verbally or mentally abusing another individual, you are scaring him or her for life. It makes no sense to behave negatively or harmfully when a person is angered.

The best solution is learning to deal with your emotions, since most times your emotions will play tricks on your mind. You might misunderstand the person you felt made you angry and act out on an emotion that makes you the foolish one in the situation. This is only humiliation of self and leads nowhere. If you have a hard time, comprehending what another person is saying, slow down and asks the person to explain. This often makes the light clearly and you may see that the person was not threatening your emotion in anyway. If you feel no one listens to you, then you might ask yourself is it a part of your imagination, or is this true that no one hears. You may review the conversations with others and may find that someone does listen and hears what you are saying.

It is good to speak up when you are feeling threatened by another person; however, it is not good to react in a harsh manner to solve the problem. When you are harshly acting out on your anger, you are only hurting yourself and other people around you. You are doing nothing but causing more problems for your self and everyone involved in your life. When you behave in such way, people are less likely to listen to your side, and will often loose respect your person. This is your fault since you acted immature when you were anger. You cannot blame others for your behaviors or actions.

We can see that this information leads us to more anger. When a person behaves in a derogatory way then it affects other people. When a person becomes a victim of an anger person, they often learn the behaviors and act accordingly to how they were treated. These means we have more problems in society, and no one is winning. Life is too short and filled with too many problems already to create more problems. If we cannot find a way to control our anger, it might best to find someone that you trust to help you control your emotions.

Another great technique for controlling anger is to volunteer at a source that uses your energy. For example if you have a major in a certain area, you might offer your expertise to children or other people to help them better their selves. Join a gym and work off you frustration and also better your health and body. This is often great for relieving anger since you are burning energy. It is important to avoid alcohol and drugs when you are dealing with anger. The most important reason is that it is not good for you, but it also increases your chances of exploding when you are angry. You might want to get a physical and mental health check to see if underlying problems exist.

Since anger is one of the many signs of mental illness, you might find hope once you are evaluated. If you are lacking understanding of anger, go online and research the marketplace to learn more about your disability.

Magnitude of Anger

Magnitude Of Anger As A Narcissistic Personality Type

When we have a pretentious personality type then we are lying face down to anger outbursts. A person with pretentious thinking may believe that he or she was centered out from everyone else when he or she does not get his or her way. People with pretentious thoughts will say things like that was a miserable idea since those people are stupid anyway. A person of this behavior may think that other people would have behaved the way that they did in a related circumstances.

There are many traits to pretentious that are disturbing and when a person has a disturbed mind, he or she is prone to anger. This type of person will have a difficult time dealing with stressors and stress and will often act out on emotions when they feel threatened. This means they are prone to assaulting others intellect, cursing at the problem, attacking another persons mental status, and even acting out violently when they are mad. This type takes us to a whole knew level of understanding anger, since a mental illness is often underlying the emotions.

A person of this magnitude of anger is known as a narcissistic personality type. Paranoid schizophrenias, histrionic personality types and a few other have a pretentious personality underlying the diagnose. When we see that a person is angry due to a mental illness then anger management may or may not work. Most histrionic personality types are firm in their way of thinking, therefore more extensive therapy is needed to deal with this type. If you experienced anger outbursts, you realize that you feel remorse after the interruption takes place.

On the other hand, if you have a histrionic or paranoid personality remorse is not in the picture. A person has to have a sense of remorse to become subject to recovery in anger management. Although the psychotherapist may find a resolve, it will be minimal. Unfortunately, in some cases of this type of anger, there is no resolve and the patient may eventually destroy another person’s life. Uncontrolled anger includes, striking, hitting, punching, assaulting mentally, verbally assault, and even murder.

Now we are looking at a serious problem since anyone is at risk of being subjected to these types of personality. A more common form of anger is a mild name calling, such as you were acting like a jerk. Alternatively, damn why did you do that? Some of us might even say why you centered me out as a target to anger. The person will raise the voice assertively, and often walk away when the person does not reply as he or she intended.

There are forms of anger that can be dealt with and some are rooted from jealousy. Well, the world is acting out of accordance to man’s beliefs most of the time so in a lot of instances there is just cause. The problem is dealing with it so that it does not get the best of you. For example if you are married and suspect that your spouse is having an affair you might confront this person rather than accusing.

Find out the details before you blow up and cause a commotion. If the person is cheating then you have two options. You can forgive the persons infidelity and move on or you can hire a lawyer and find a more suitable, trusting mate. I would choose the latter since cheaters are liars and thieves trying to get away with something, therefore the person are not trustworthy in most cases. See the reasoning behind this? Of course, it is going to hurt, but in the end, you will see that you made a good choice. If you decide to stay with the person, remember your forgave so do not bring up failures when another problem occurs.

Failure is success flipped over and if you review failure in a positive light, you problems will reduce as you move forward in life. If you have a pretentious personality, you will need help, since the mountains are more difficulty for you to climb. Do not be a failure control your anger before it controls your life.

Anger and Madness

Prejudice Can be Madness

Anger is a source of hate that involves prejudice. We can see anger by looking back the history when the white men that evaded the camps of the American Indians. The men rushed through the camps, starting fires, shooting people at random, and causing a chaos that broke off an entire village. We can also see anger tragedy when we analyzed what the white man did to the African-Americans. The men threaten these human beings as sex toys, objects, laborers, and so on.
We can see in two examples that gluttony and jealousy caused a large part in the actions committed against the people, and that anger was a root of the behaviors. We can also see that greed played a large part since power and control was the focus. Greed came into heart of the anger illustrated when we see that the enemy occupies something that did not belong to them. They started with envy, greed and then enforced their anger to take what they wanted, or force the group of people to do what they wanted them to do.
We can see that money played a large part in this action also, which links to greed and envy the underlying sources of anger. Therefore, the root started with money, then envy, greed, which lead to anger outbursts against another group of individuals. The cause was noted as prejudice, which is a form of hate, and this instigated the ultimate actions taking against these groups of people. At this time, they had trading posts and bartering systems where many people trading one product for another of equal value.
The persons would trade for land, fur, food and so forth. There was not point in the incidents that took place in this time, since in reality no one owns the land but God who in turn gave it to all of us. If someone believed they owned the land, then trading should have been negotiated for a part of the land, rather than brutally murder, which was a reaction of anger.
Likewise, the slaves were sent across the oceans and sold to the American people by their own race. This too was because of money, greed, and envy. Prejudice may have been involved since the source that sold the slaves probably viewed the people as less superior. We can see that anger is in the picture, simply because the roots and history are there to prove this. However, it may not have been uncontrolled anger to the degree a person can express anger.
It did however cause anger down through the centuries as people began fighting for their equal rights. Starting with the Civil War we can see that these behaviors of others caused a much more severe eruption of anger in a group of people and it was all because of prejudice. First, and foremost if God is not prejudice who gave these people the right to judge. The issue can be dealt with by relating to the prejudice itself. If a person is prejudice, it is often due to lack of understanding.
When someone is different, it often poses a threat to others, simply because they do not understand. This causes anger to build, since most people when threatened become angry. Now we can look at these examples as a whole and see that anger affects everyone. We see that anger started with one person or group of people and continued throughout the history. Obviously then, anger is an epidemic that all of us are influenced by, or has experienced. Therefore, if you are prejudice you should sit down and review the history, and think about what prejudice really means.
If you are this angry with a group of people, it is simply because you lack understanding. Ignorance then is another source that leads to angry outbursts. Prejudice is not only ignorant; it is stupid if you are not willing to learn. Our history has shown us that anger is tolerable in the system, yet it is something we do not want to tolerate. We can see that the system allowed anger in the, yet is now regretting their tolerance. We can see this as the system is struggling to undo what has already been done.

Physical Fitness to Control Anger

How Physical Fitness Control Anger

How can physical fitness control anger? Experts have proven that physical fitness can minimize health risks, stress, heart attacks, aging, and facilitate a person to control his or her emotions whenever anger comes about. Doing stretching exercises by yourself has been proven to enhance bones, joints, cells and other parts internally and externally of our body. It has been proven to increase cognitive thinking and reduce anger explosions as well. When a person feels good about them self anger often knocks when a real threat is in the making.

If you are a patient with arthritis then your nerves are affected, which makes it not easy for you to manage your temper when your emotions are risen, therefore, exercise has been proven to minimize pain and suffering of arthritis symptoms. This makes someone easy to be productive and move ahead in his life to keep away from uncontrolled anger interruptions. Riding a bike is one of the best tools for reducing arthritis symptoms and also enforcing positive emotions. Research has proven that insulin plays a large role on emotions since insulin when low or high can affect both the body and mind.

If a person has low or high insulin they are subject to explode when the anger emotion is threatened. There is no sole human being identical that includes our body types, emotional status, values, metabolism; motivation, needs, thought process, toxemia, as well as many other factors make us all different. Therefore, when we are dealing with emotions we need to learn our self, accept what we cannot change and move ahead. When you are taking care of your mind and body your success is just around the corner. However if you are allowing anger to rule your mind then the body is in harms way and your life is in chaos.

When you exercise, you are reducing the emotion that enforces anger and will likely respond to your anger more appropriately. The human body includes a number of tissues, bones, cells, nerve endings and so forth. When we understand our body, it will lead us to understand our minds. The body relies on you to provide the necessities that enforce survival. Endomorphs affect our weight, while hormones control our body’s nervous system, brain, and the body’s electrical components.

Hormones in fact determine how a person will feel inside, how the person thinks, and what the person will look like in life. Therefore, we must understand the internal organs and take care of them by providing healthy foods and exercise to maintain a quality of life. If we understand the body and mind, we know that the gland hormones, nuclei, which are a chemicals in cluster that produce brain cells and a variety of functions can cause us emotional interruptions if someone is not taking care of them.

When chemicals are produced in the hormones in reduces the chances of aging, and we can avoid emotional interruptions more often. Hormones also affect the memory, blood pressure and perceptions of all of us and if chemicals are sent to the through the blood hitting the endocrine glands then the body, including the nervous system is affected in a large way. Therefore, we see that exercise and healthy diet can reduce our anger problem and increase our body and minds survival and success.

Our mind and body is the ruling of our lives. If we are taking care of the joint team then we are making progress. If you are dealing with anger, you might want to start exercises slowly and progress to a healthy schedule. Even if your anger is, a result of mental illness or physical disability exercise and a healthy diet can go a long way. If you have a mental illness or medical condition you might explode in anger from time to time, but overall you will have control over your emotions and life.

It is all about being in control that makes us flare of act assertive. If we are taking care of our minds and body with exercise and nutrition then we are taking control of the sources within. Anger only increases problems in most cases; therefore, we need to control our anger and emotion to prevent harm.

Manage Our Anger Positive

Learn A Way To Use Our Anger Positive

There are lots of experts arguing to have all the answers for controlling anger. The difficulty is not all persons with anger represent in the similar way. Anger is something we all experience in our life. The problem is not all of us can cope with our emotions properly. Some of us when angered will face the person that upset us, while others will stay for a time before going back to the person and confronting them, only exploding while doing so.

Anger is an emotion that explodes when someone frightens us, threatens us, betrays, obstructs, disregards us, or harms us in some way. When this happens, a person will often strike out or ignore the problem until it burns deep in the person’s soul and causes an explosion. We can see that if someone is attempting to harm us our natural instincts tell us to fight. If the possibility is available for us to leave the presence of the human being without harm, then we often resort to this method first.

However, in most cases, we are not able to walk away then it is time to pull out the sword and battle. If we do not have, anger pushes us to protect then we are in a world of trouble. It takes a real person to walk away from a fight, but what if your back is against the wall. How are you going to handle it? Effective talk can go a long way in a fight. If you know how to use your words with assertiveness, you can walk away from most battles.

However, if you do not have this ability your fist better be up and ready to attack. One of the best solutions I found for avoiding both anger and harm is to remove myself permanently from bad influences and environments. This not only prevents problem it also helps me to function accordingly in life. The problem is we cannot always avoid persons that disrespect us, betray us, cheat us, lie to us, or even threaten us.

Therefore, we must learn a way to use our anger positive, rather than continue a way that makes matters worse. We can see all the elements that invoke anger when we travel, at home, at school and so forth. There is no way to escape problems, or people that annoy us, therefore, we are a system of angry people needing anger management skills. When a person is angry, his physical tells him or her that a threat is made against the being. The body will respond, acting out with accelerated palpitations of the heart, the pupils flare, the breath increases or decreases, and our tone is louder when we speak.

The body will tell us with dry mouth and tension of the body that we are mad. If two people engage, in an angry moment, it is best to step back and deal with the problem once you have both calmed down. If a person has angry issues it is, best to tell the person I will talk with you later, since this is going nowhere. Try to use positive talk to calm the person, rather than joining in the heated dispute. If the person has, a problem with anger the last thing you want is to get hurt mentally, verbally, or physically. Anger depends on the person’s attitude, and if that person is negative, you can bet his or her level of anger will be out of control.

A person with anger problems will often attack by insulting you verbally, striking you physically, or mentally belittling you. If you are dealing with this type of person, you will need to learn techniques to deal with this person, unless you plan to leave them behind. Most of this type of person views the world as a source of evil. The entire world around them is responsible for the person feeling angry, since the actions forced them to think this way. In light, this person is correct to a degree; however, he or she has not learned how to manage their anger. When a person feels like this, they often neglect seeing that their success is a failure in many cases because of their behaviors. Therefore, we need them to see that anger management is controlling anger.

The Trigger of Anger

The Triggers of Anger

Triggers are what breaks up emotions and makes us get angry. When we find out our triggers, we are taking a step in the right way to manage our emotions. First, we have to to weed through the roots of anger to determine the problem. If you have neurotic anger, explosions you might wish for to get a physical to reduce chemical or physical roots of your anger.

Next, you will go to a mental health expert to reduce mental illnesses that are often the root of anger. After you have done step one and two and the problem does not lie between mental illness and physical then you will need to attend anger management classes. Obviously, you have no control over your emotions; therefore, you will need to learn techniques that help you to cope better with your fears, frustrations, anxiety, depression and emotions.

This will help you to move ahead in life and gain control of your anger. You might want to ask your self what you are afraid of or what are the triggers of your anger? You might review the thoughts carefully to see if you anger is justifiable. Are you afraid to speak up and protect your rights? Is there something in your past that leads you to worry obsessively and enforce your anger?

Maybe you were a victim of some incident in your past or you witnessed something that disturbed your conscious and you rambled through life without dealing with the stressor. Regardless, you are affected somehow and your emotions are not cooperating with your thoughts. Some of us fret over things that are out of our control. For example, many of worry about growing old or dying, which is not in our hands to worry about?

We all are growing older each day and it is a part of life that is out of our control. Likewise, we are all at risk of dying. It is how you deal with that makes or breaks your success. Accepting that you are growing old is the first step to eliminating worry that leads to anger. Take the fear and reverse by telling your self that age is a factor of life that we all must face, yet I have some control.

If I exercise, eat right, and take care of my skin then I may not look in the mirror when I am sixty and see an extremely wrinkled face and sagging skin. Likewise, if you know that you are dying and cannot do nothing about it, remember the more you take care of your mind and body the longer you will live. Some of us worry about tomorrow and how we will manage to survive the next day.

If you worry about tomorrow, you are missing what today can bring. No one has control of tomorrow and to worry about something that is out of our hands is wasting time and energy. If you have problems with worry, you might want to remember that today is another day and thank the Lord that you are breathing. Worry is a form of selfishness, since you are anticipating a problem that may or may not occur. Some of us fear that we will go insane if our problems continue to escalate.

This fear is not justifiable because you cannot predict your mind. Your mind may feel at wits ends, but you have control to handle your emotions if you reach inside your self and face your fears. Now we can review triggers by seeing that unjust and justifiable triggers are linked to emotions, which causes anger. We might find that we are responsible for our emotions and failed to take charge of them, allowing them to rule our lives.

We might even find a source in the past that invoked our emotions and promoted an undeveloped mind. When you find your triggers and review your problems, you are taking charge of your anger and your life will prove fruitful for your efforts. Triggers are objects, words, pictures, sound, taste, smell and when a person is triggered to anger, they often react either positively or negatively to the source.

Security Playing a Role in ANger Management

Security Playing a Role in Anger Management

Normally when a person gets angry, the person feels unconfident of his or her self. If you feel that your security fades away you might want to consider that security is on different levels of understanding. If you are very secure then you are acting foolishly, when you are placing your self in improper ways. If you have no fear and have hesitations about trusting then you are open to harm by others. This means you are at risk to any action or force in life.

On the other hand, if you’re secure is reasonable you feel assurance and have no doubts about yourself, but will be alert to others around you. You will feel trustworthy and confident knowing that your person is in place. The boundaries between the two are where anger lies. If you are vulnerable to your secure being then you are opening the doors to doubts and lack of self-image.

When your self-image is dented then anger is under the surface and when your emotions feel threatened you are most likely going to explode? On the other hand if you have moderate security then you are aware of the dangerous, aware of where you stand in life, and open to opportunities when they arrive. You will most likely be risk free to a large degree since you are aware of what goes on in the world and which areas of life to avoid.

We all have a natural sense of security. If we have a home, car, job, or a standing in life then we have a secured path to follow. Most of us know, or should know that at any given moment this security could be swept from beneath our feet. A number of us never experience security since genetics and dysfunctional circumstances have robbed us of our sense of self-image from the beginning. Security is a sense of being in control of one self.

When a person loses the feeling of control then this person will most likely strike when another person threatens his or her emotions. Consequently, we see that security plays a role in anger, as well as control. Now we can break this down for a better understanding, by showing the person how to gain control and security in their life.

Anger management is a sort of psychotherapy that teaches us to control our anger, which means we are in control of our emotions and life. Anger management also teaches us how to cope with problems, how to keep away from or handle our triggers, and how to provide a measurable amount of security. If you grew up in a home, where no one sat at the table and ate dinner together.

Alternatively, if the family had a break down in communication you are a person that never was taught to deal with your emotions. This means you sense of security, control was ripped from beneath you, and you will need to learn new behavior patterns to help you gain control of your anger and life. Emotions run deep and we all have scars from an unruly history. We could live in a prominent home, but somewhere during our life, we are going to experience problems.

The rich people neglect their children; the poor folks cannot find a way to feed their families, both in mind and body. Therefore, we are all going to have problems, but it is how we deal with that gives us the control and security we need to function proper in life. There are no escaping lives many problems, including death, violence, war, hatred, anger, misery, homeless, and so forth. Therefore, we see that we have many problems so now we need to learn how to manage the stressors that knock on our doors every day.

Security plays a large role in anger, and when that security is off balance or lacking then we have a serious problem in the making. Anger management is the solution if you cannot find your security and control to deal with your anger. You may also want to consult with a mental health expert for evaluations.

Prejudice and Anger

Manage Anger Problems

Manage Anger Problems

There are many anger problems in the world, which calls for a diversity of management since not all angered persons do something alike. Some of the angered persons can walk around the block and cool down, while others cannot. It depend on the person and scale of anger involved, but each person is unlike, so we must look at anger on different levels. We all get mad. There is no avoiding it.

However, how we deal with anger is what matters. The society has its own set of rules and regulation that defines how a person should behave in society. This is corrupted, since every one of us is different in our own way. We are based on ethnics, class, gender, race, culture, and so forth. This means that each of us has emotions on different levels of teaching and mental status.

Normal is defined as conforming to a set of rules, standards and principals. Principal is defined as the most important or leader. Therefore, what these people believe may not be what another person believes. We are all taught to believe that the leaders are right and the rest of us are wrong. This is incorrect, since the leaders have proven failures.

Therefore, anger is the seat of controlling individuals in the world. This is only one portion of the many roots of anger. If a person grows up in a dysfunctional home, it is said that the person will most likely become a menace to society, since this person did not meet the standards, rules, and principals of society.

However, I have analyzed dysfunctional children and adults, and acknowledge standards, morals and values that the so-called norm society lacks. I have watch dysfunctional children grow into progressive adults, making a name for them selves in society. I have watched dysfunctional children commit crimes, and feel remorse, and at the same time watched the higher class of people commit crimes and make excuses. So we see that moral and values are another root to anger. We see that when a person’s rights to moral and value belief are violated it creates problems.

Now, here is the trick. If our beliefs differ from the so-called norm then we need to reroute making a crossroad the disengages us from society, yet makes us fit in unnoticeably. We are able to adhere to our own beliefs, values and morals without interrupting the society. One method for this is writing. If you can write sit down and write a damn good book expressing your opinions, theories, ideas, beliefs, et cetera and if possible get it published.

Not only are you dealing with your problems, you are also telling society, the legal system, the political world, and the religious cults what you think and feel. This is great, since everyone reads and instead of beating the hell out of someone for their ignorance, you can tell them off in a book. If you cannot publish then at least you are venting your anger in words.

Words have proven to be affected for dealing with emotions. If you cannot write, but have other creative/artistic skills then put them to good use. I found that many individuals that have mental illness, anger issues, and so forth often have a creative/artistic side that is often ignored. I noticed when the skills were put to good use the persons were more relaxed. Dancing is a skill of creativity and artistic, and if you practice dancing you might find your anxiety and tension subsiding.

There are many techniques and strategies for dealing with anger, yet we have to explore each method, since all of us are different. The ignorance and stupidity alone in the world is enough to make anyone blow up with anger, however, it is all how you handle it. If you learn control, you might find others listening to you when you are speaking in a mild manner. Throwing honey on a problem brings forth more results than throwing fuel on the fire. This brief information of anger problems and management is nowhere near enough information to deal with the many problems we all face; however, it is a start to success.

Advance in Anger Management

Manage Rejection

When Rejections Come Your Way

Rejections are usual and we all are told no on many situation. Some persons have difficulty conduct rejections and possibly will react hurriedly to the other person involved. If you walk in a bank and apply for a loan and are rejected you might stomp out the door uproar obscene talk to the lenders. This is not a proper way to handle the situation. This in fact can get you in problem and it is clear that rejections are triggers to your emotions that enforce your anger.

Now that you see this is a trigger you will need to learn how to cope with your anger and emotions. We can start with the technique to work through your anger by reducing your stress. If you are a spontaneous person then you will need to learn how to cut back on stressors. If you feel pressured in the morning before going to work, try picking out the clothes you will wear for that day the following evening.

This will provide you an extra few minutes during the morning to prepare for work. If you are running like a mad person to meet classes, then you might want to set up a schedule for your self that includes time management. This can help you learn to prepare ahead and stay on top of things without rushing. Instead of roaming thoughts through your head about what you, need to do each day, try handling one task at a time.

This works wonders once you practice and continue with your strategy. When you feel angry, try taking a few deep breaths before you speak. You may also want to practice exercising since this burns energy and often reduces your chances of exploding when your emotions are threatened. If you cannot handle rejections, coach your mind to believe that the person is not centering you out.

Repeat over in your mind that no is a positive in many cases. For example, if you are married, you enjoy going to the bar to chat with your friends, and your husband does not want you to go, and then think why he said no? Obviously, your husband cares about you since he knows that danger is potentially high at bars. He does not want you to get hurt therefore, he is saying no in your best interest. If the bank turns you down on a loan there is a legit reason.

Maybe your credit report needs some repairing, or maybe they felt you income would not cover the loan amount. Therefore, you best interest was at heart again. We all hear no throughout our lifetime and most times, it is for the best reasons. If you apply for a job and are turned down, it might be in your best interest, since the employers felt that your skills were not on the level that the job required of you.

Alternatively, you may be over qualified for the job and when you are rejected, the employers are merely saying we do not have the cash to pay you for what you are worth. Thinking positive is always great for managing anger. If you are prompt to explode when your emotions are interrupted then it is difficulty to manage your life. If you are angry most likely, all areas of your life seem like an uphill travel.

When you gain control this often benefits everyone, including your self. Your life starts to improve and your mind is thanking you for removing stress from its cavity. If you are prone to beat your self up when rejections come your way, you might want to find a positive side of your being and enforce it in your mind repeatedly. Practice makes perfect and this is a great way to train your mind so that you gain control of your mind and anger. If you are frustrated easily, it is probably because you do not take time out of a day for your self to relax. There is nothing wrong with relaxing.

Therefore you can sit down for 30 minutes each day and yoga or think of nothing at all. Finally, we are closing so I wanted to let you know that once you practice the strategies for dealing with anger, pat your self on the back each time you make effort and achieve.

About a Rage

How Does Rage Rise?

We can classify anger in two different type, but when anger harms others then we identify it is rage, which is the derivation of evil. Rage is a fit of uncontrolled anger that applies in violent anger and is a form of insanity. Anger when raged is an act of passion, or a strong emotion forced to act out on another source. Jealousy, hate, greed are a few cause of the emotional forces. Hate is a strong emotion that is stemmed from fear in all cases, which follows threatening, harming.

The fewer severe threats are disrespecting, humiliation, betrayal and obstruction. Although the less severe can lead to a chaotic situation, it is less likely that a person will become raged if someone is not harming them physically. Of course, this is an exception, since there are people that will become raged over simple things, including nothing at all. Borderline personality types will become enraged when they feel abandoned, insulted emotionally, or if they feel another person betrayed them. Sometimes the person is right in their line of thinking, but in many cases, they are not.

For example, if a person with borderline personality disorder is in a relationship and feels they are loosing control it is often because they feel abandoned or betrayed. They will hunt you down and harm you if they feel anyway hurt because of your actions or behaviors. They will call the workplace numerous of times, or else stalk you when you are at work. These types are often angered and the underlying source is jealousy and greed. Anger has hatred at the roots automatically, whether a person is acting out appropriately or not.

These people believe that they are a special breed of people and everyone else is below them. This type of thinking is known as Grandiosity. This makes the person (s) superficial since they are in an illus ional state of mind. The person (s) emotions and feelings are usually artificial and have no grounds for purpose. NOTE: Paranoid Schizophrenias often act out in anger on several different levels. Because of the difference in anger expressed, it makes it difficult to determine when these types are mad.

For example, a paranoid schizophrenia may have a history of violence, but it is short-lived, while other behaviors are more noticeable. During the younger portion of a paranoid schizophrenias life is when they are most aggressive, however, since their level of anger is unpredictable it pays to stay alert when dealing with this type. If you are trying to understand rage or anger, you can read the history of murders, rape, vandalism, and other related crimes.

Read through the fine lines and you will see hate, greed, jealousy and rage all combined. Rarely does a person that attacks another individual have justifiable cause. When a person acts out on his or her emotion, generally the root is hatred. On the other hand, if another abuses a person repeatedly individual they may act out in rage. This person is responding to anger that has built up over a period. The person may not hate the source that caused all the hurt, which made them respond, but may not realize this until it is too late.

If you want to see, anger built up over a time, and then read the many accounts of women that have been abused by a mate for a number of years. Then, the making of rage is seen in episodes where a person has been continuously abused, while uncontrolled anger lies inside the mind of the mentally ill. Alcohol and drug abuse plays another role in uncontrolled anger, however it is not true that everyone that acts out in rage is a substance abuser.

The Roadblocks of Anger

The Roadblocks of Anger

Reducing the roadblocks of anger can be useful for us in many cases. Analyzing anger and its cause can frequently facilitate us to see the roadblocks in our brains. If you tend to anger, you will have a low tolerance to fear, anxiety, stressors, and so forth. Roadblocks are obstacles with traps or mines at the end of the emotion readying itself to stop the unexpected things at a certain point in our life. As you can see, your emotions have been already in an uproar long before your anger occupied. Therefore, you will require reviewing your mind and learning more about your feelings, thoughts, emotions and so forth.

Is there a problem that has been lingering for a length of time and you failed to deal with it? Dealing with problems means we are taking control of our emotions. When a problem occurs, we should take the time to confront the issue before it lingers out of control. If the moment is not right to deal with the problem on the spot then we need to find a time shortly after it develops and deal with the problem. If you are lacking education in certain areas, you might want to read material that helps you to see your options in life.

When we have problems, the answer is often buried within us and this is a great resource to research and review to solve our anger problems. If you feel like you are the only person in the world with a problem you might want to remember that all of us are subject to explode. Studies have proven that all of us have an aggressive side that is subject to kill if the opportunity arises.

This is frightening; however, most of us abide by laws, rules and regulations. Therefore, you might want to evaluate your beliefs to remove any contribution to your anger. If you feel like your rights have been violated review the ideas in your mind to see if this is true. If you rights have been violates you have options, therefore you will need to review again to find resources.

Ask your self what your roadblocks are? Are the roadblocks valid or are you just setting your self up for a fall? If you are worrying about a ticket that has not been paid and thinking that, the law will come and get you at any moment. You are setting your self up for a fall. If you have a mere speeding ticket that was overlooked, you can call the courts and ask for an extension. If you have to appear in court coach your mind before you walk in the door.

In most instances, a speedy ticket will get you nothing more than a fine. In addition, the courts are set up to intimidate you when you walk in the doors. In the room is nothing more than people with a little more control on their sides. If you gain control, you can find a result and see that your life is not threatened to the magnitude that you believed it was in the first place. Are you in a relationship that is creating emotion stimulus in a negative way?

Then you need to sit down with your mate and talk about the problems you both are facing. Do not yell or scream at each other, since this only adds to the problem. Rather, go over the details of the problems and ask each other is there a way to resolve the issues. If you come up with nothing you might want to visit a marriage counseling that may point out what you missed.

On the other hand, you can ask a close friend to help you review the problems as a medium and intervene when the two of you come up with nothing. There is no problem big or small that does not have a resolve, unless it is out of the ordinary. If you are having, financial difficulties there are resources available to you to help you recover from your debts. Remember roadblocks are a set up and when you set your self up the worst probably will happen.

The Triggers of Anger

Stress Management

Stress Management For Anger

Recognizing stress and stressors can be helpful for you anticipate and deal with your anger. If you feel like your body is controlled with tension then stress is the cause of the problem. Stress is frequently an effect of interrupted triggers from your emotional reaction. Stress is either negative or positive; therefore, we should find out the way to deal with stress in order to succeed in life. Negative stress may end for several days, weeks, or even months. When you get stressed, it is often hard to control your life and deal with your problems.

If you feel pressured or frightened your stress level will rise. Now we can look positive stress by viewing an incident. Pretend you are traveling down an Interstate when suddenly a motor vehicle swerves in front of you and you miss the car by inches. Now if you have control of your life then you will think swiftly to avoid hitting the vehicle and take a few deep breaths to control your anger. If you do not have control of your life (negative stress) most likely, you will cause an accident or hit the vehicle, or even miss the car and scream vulgarity to the driver at fault.

Your mind will probably ramble on for the entire day. If your mind is rambling then you reach your destination all to find out you cannot deal with the tasks scheduled. Now you have a bigger problem. If you would have taking those breaths and let go of the moment then you would be able to complete your day without a struggle. Of course, the incident involves mild trauma, but no one was hurt. It could have been worse and someone could have died or else been hurt badly. Therefore, we can say that preparing the mind for reality and its dangers can benefit us and help us control our life and anger.

If you wonder through life believing that you are invincible then you are setting your self up for a fall. Life is filled with chaos. Your chances of risk are at least 10% and your chances of not failing into the hands of faith are 90% giving you a higher odd to deal with. Therefore, if you can remember that your odds are in your favor then you will let go of those negative thoughts called stressors and continue living your life. If you feel that, you are out numbered then you need to loosen up get in society and find how many people in life have more problems than you.

Take into consideration your own problems, yet review the world’s problems and calculate your situation. For example, if you are behind on bills, the mortgage is due and your check is late then you have a problem. This can be dealt with since your check will be in shortly and you can pay what is owed. Now let us take a look at someone else that has problems. Review the homeless people on the street without jobs and suffering poor health.

Do you see a way out for these people? Is anyone going to hire them? Most likely not since they do not have money to get clothes that are suitable for a job. However, there is an out if you think about it. This problem is deeper than what you are facing and still there is a way out. Another example can be seen when two men walk into a woman’s house and attempts to rob her. The men put a bag over the women’s head and beat her.

The woman is blind. There appears no way out of the situation, but a group of motorcyclist hears the woman has screamed and give chance to the men. The woman survives, but extensive trauma prevents her to cope with the stress of the situation. If you think, you got it bad you need to review the lives of others that are suffering. The situation has a resolve, unfortunately it will not resolve itself until someone thinks about what needs to be done. Teach stress management to deal with your anger.

The Anger Sign

Define The Anger Signs

What are the signs of anger? Because nobody is equal it can not be able to define, however because anger is the same we can sum it up. Angry persons will physically attack others, whether it is verbally or physically. An anger person will smack, strike, punch, threaten, shove, or kick others when their anger controls him. They are habitually aggressive, sarcastic, nagging, and will often grumble about everything.

They are malicious toward others, which includes spreading rumors, retaliating, or defiantly striking out against another. Persons with anger problems often display anti-social behaviors, including denial and inability to relate to others. Angry persons often act out in hate and will go out of their way to hurt others in the process. They often have negative thinking patterns and these patterns are displayed to others. When a person is angry, they often tell others that you are stupid. Alternatively, you are ugly and no one wants you.

This is belittling the other person and the angry person often finds relief. When a person has difficulty dealing with his or her anger they will often vent their lack the ability to trust others. They are often suspicious, whining, judgmental, and often jealous of others. They will act out disruptively, and retort to disobliging reactions. A person with anger issues will often try to under mind anyone around them. These types of people are no fun to be around and they do need help.

Recently I dealt with a woman that had uncontrollable anger issues. For no apparent reason she would react to minor issues. Issues such as a child eating too much or eating something that she envied was enough to instigate a reaction. Sometimes she was mild in her acts, and other times she was outrageous. In most instances, she had no foundation for her behavior; however, there was an underlying source. The woman did in fact display anti-social behaviors, and often communicated erupting thinking patterns.

For example, she would say that all men are pigs. She also talked about leading men on; leading them to her basement and having alligators eat them alive. The woman was deranged and very sick minded. Now she was diagnosed with Bipolar – Manic Depression, and Posttraumatic Stress Disorder. After carefully examining her, I dismissed Posttraumatic Stress or at most minimized the diagnosed since most of her symptoms were that of histrionic, anti-social traits. Now the root of her anger according to her was that the many men she endured relationships with mistreated her.

This may have been partial reason, but the truth showed when she talked about her life. She was adopted; therefore, she had a sense of abandonment. The root her is obvious, since she most likely hated her parents for tossing her away like garbage. Even if the parents were justifiable, or rather had a good cause to adopt, she refuses to hear the other side. Since the woman had ongoing symptoms of this type of behavior, I noticed that treatment would probably never work since she was a victim of her own state of mind and in complete denial.

I noticed that the woman had anger deep within due to her own behaviors. She acted out criminally, writing bad checks and justifying it. Therefore, the symptoms she endured were partially her own making. She created her anger and paranoia, therefore her anger is on her and no one else. However, angry people will under mind others. For example, the angry person might say something to the affect: try these diet pills they will help you loose weight.

Now the person knows that the target has an area of self-esteem since she is normal weight, but thinks she is fat. Therefore, the angered person is trying to belittle the individual by under minding her. An angry person will also seek attention and often use negative words. For example, I am fat. Now the person is waiting for you to tell her that she is exaggerating. The best thing to do in this instances is do not sit yourself up for a fall. No matter how many times you tell the person that she is not fat, or she just needs to drop a few pounds you are never going to satisfy her mind, since denial is the root.

Understanding Anger

The Science of Anger

A small number of experts believe that anger is a effect of a painful apprehensive uneasiness of the mind or illness. Others believe anger is psychoneurotic or psychotic disorder, named depression. While this can be right for some individuals, it is not right of everyone. Anger is stemmed from hatred, animosity and it rises throughout a person’s lifetime developing into a much more complex problem. For example, a person with psychopathic tendencies, character has anger and it often is out of control as an act of violence happens. However, this person may be able to continue a degree of control by repressing his or her symptoms under the surface, or feelings and emotions.

It is said that psychopathic individuals do not have the ability to show emotions, however this is far from truth. While the emotions may be less obvious they do show emotions when they kill or hurt others. Anger comes in all forms, and it is all people. Some of us know how to deal with anger, while others blow up and cause harm to self or to others. A psychopathic will bury his emotions and act on them once the time is convenient for him.

When he kills, he often strives for intensity, which is a feeling. Not every psychopathic will kill, but for the most part we can see anger within these types of individuals. Another type of person where obsessive anger exists is bipolar personality types. This can be seen when the person explodes for no apparent reason. Bipolar a form of depression, which makes scientist right to a degree, but just as anger comes in many forms, so does people.

There are many children in America living through their explosions, so this is another level of anger that we can analyze. The problem with anger regardless of what form it comes in or who looses control is that it affects the physical. For example if a person continues to explode venting anger then the blood pressure is affected, the heart, the nerves, and the mind are all targets of anger out of control. In time if a person does not find a resolve for his or her anger it more than likely will take full advantage of the health. This means as the person grows older his or her health will most likely need long-term treatment in the medical field.

Now we can see who benefits from uncontrolled anger. Not only are the person that has uncontrolled anger a target for risk, but anyone that is around this type of person is subject to harm. In many instances, the person will strike out verbally, but in other cases, uncontrolled anger persons harm others physically. It is ok to have a degree of anger when it is healthy, but when you begin calling others names, hitting, kicking, biting, or what have you, then anger moved to another level.

If you do not get control of your anger now, it is likely someone will take control of your anger later. Scientists and other professionals around the world recently study uncontrolled anger, but the problem is anger still exists uncontrolled around the world more now than ever. The problems seem to escalate simply because scientists and others are looking at anger and not the entire formation of the problem. When we think of anger, we know we are dealing with emotions.

When a person is young, that person needs education, parental guidance, emotional support, nutrition, exercise, and so forth. If this person is missing one or more of these necessities, something is going to happen in the future of that person’s life. Not always, but statistics show that one or more these elements lacking in a person has linked to mental illnesses, drug and alcohol abuse, crime and so forth. Therefore, if you want to analyze anger the key is to analyze all aspects of the problem, including, but not limited to history, influences, upbringing, and so forth. Knowing and understanding anger will help us manage our anger better.

Controlling Management

Controlling Management for Treating Anger

It is often difficulty to maintain control of your impulses when others around us make us angry. It is even more hard when the prices in the economy increases every year, and the legal and political scheme is regularly putting more burden on us everyday. Most of us cope with the stressors in life as they come our way, but some of us get out of control.

Management is often the solution for treating anger; however, the person must be willing to admit their actions are causing more problems. When a person acts out violently, verbally abusive, assault and so on it not only causes problem for the person out of control, it also causes problems for others.

Often when a person has anger issues he or she will attack others whether physically or mentally. The angered person will often attack in a way that belittles, humiliates, harms, or threatens another life. This person will need to learn to control his or her anger, since everyone around him or her is in a degree of danger, and sometimes more danger than others.

Anger is the inability to restrain the impulses, desires and emotions. When a person is out of contact with his emotions, it often creates a chaotic mind. When a person is threatened, it is always good to have a degree of anger to protect. However when a person does not have control then it can lead to trouble. Anger, sadness, joy and happy are all parts of out emotions, and when we have those emotions in control we often live a productive life.

However, when we seem to a target of attack then it is more difficult for us to manage our life and anger. For example, some children go to school and each day a bully will antagonize this child pushing him beyond his or her control. The child may hold his feelings in for a period, but eventually he or she is going to loose control, since none of us is willing to continue allowing someone to make our lives miserable.

Unfortunately, when this child reaches his or her limits and returns the attack on the child, he then becomes the culprit and is often punished. The bully too many times gets away with his behavior, and once the victim takes action he or she is often punished. The school personnel will often say why didn’t you tell me what was going on? However, the fact is the child most likely told the personnel and in my experiences, they rarely act.

Now we have two children with anger problems and more people in trouble. This is only one of the many reasons why a person cultivates anger to a degree of explosion. Each time we are angry we feel it in our body and mind. Our body will often tense when we feel angry. If you feel this tension then it is time to step back and take control. Why am I mad? Why do I feel this way? Asking yourself questions can help you find the answers if you search your mind hard enough.

Usually after a person has developed a level of anger that is out of control, they will often strike out at persons even if there is no justifiable cause. The person could have moved something that belonged to that person and they will react by saying something like you stupid moron, why in the hell did you move my belongings? I cannot believe how stupid you are. Why do you bother breathing? This is only a few examples of a verbal attack issued by an angered person.

The person may attack physically by kicking, hitting, punching, spitting, or causing other types of harm to the person. It is important to get management in play if you have anger problems. If you cannot control your emotions then one day, someone will control them for you. Anger is good if you have it under control, but when you loose control someone, someday will pay and that someone in many cases will be you as well as the trail of victims behind you.

Using Anger Management to Keep Anger at Bay by Hector Milla

Using Anger Management

Do you seem to find yourself fuming at your children all the time, every neighbour seem to annoy you, your spouse and you are constantly at each others back and your seething anger doesn't seem to boil down? Emotions need food just like our body needs food to stay alive. When we are creating an external sign of truths to our emotions, we are striking our potential power to control our anger. For instance, if you are reasoning that the current situation faced can not be solved you are setting your emotions up to explode when a trigger is hit. How we recognize each problem makes a difference to the emotions.

If we are thinking negatively then we will likely endure tribulation when we explode. In contrast, if we feed our emotions with positive thinking then our life is heading down the road to a winner. This is where education comes into play. If you have a good education, you are learning strategies of life that benefit your emotions.

If you are lacking education, you will be lacking in emotion and subject to exploded when dangers present itself. When we explode out of anger, we are only throwing fuel on an existing fire. Most emotional problems stem from faulty beliefs and teaching, therefore education plays a large role since you are learning from many sources that can teach you how to behave in life.

Most of us are taught to think rationally in all situations, but from time to time irrational thinking can save a life. For example, reviewing an incident can help us to appreciate faulty teachings, beliefs and logic. A young woman is nearly murdered and finally escapes the hands of the angered person, and instead of going with her basic instincts, she decides to act out in accordance with what the people have taught, believed in and assumed the logic would work.

It backfired and the woman was recaptured by the stalker and hurt immensely. Now, if she would have stick to her own thinking, belief and teachings since she was a survivor experienced in trauma she would have fared better. She believed by running to a lighted area would provide her a source of relief. Instead, it only helped the culprit take control.

If she would have trusted her self and ran to a dark area, she may have escaped with fewer injuries. After the culprit recaptured her, she had to use her emotions and head and avoid anger. Instead of joining in the violent act, she submitted her self to the predator, praying that he would stop. She thought about the scene carefully wandering her mind searching for a way to escape.

There was none! She then wiped her blood on the man’s shirt believing that if he killed her the evidence would help the police apprehend the man. Fortunately, her prayers paid off since her car for no apparent reason caught fire and drawn attention. If this woman had not used her head to maneuver through the horrific incident to date she would be dead. Now we can see that anger only enforces problems, rather than help us to reduce the problems at hand.

If you feel you are overwhelmed with problems you might want to review this account to see that your problems may be smaller than you have made them. We all add problems to our life by stressing over things that are not in our control. When we learn to take it one day at a time or appreciate what we have, we are taking the steps to control our emotions and life.

Reasoning with the emotions to avoid anger is simply. If you are thinking, negative thoughts flip it around and put the cards in your hand. Life is like a game of poker and the leader has control since he has the royal flush. You are holding a pair in your hand, but you have control since the cards will be dealt again. When you are analyzing a problem, take a look at both sides to see where you fit in the picture.

If you are adhering to behaviors that instigate the problem, find a way to resolve by taking a positive approach and deal with your anger. Good and bad comes to us all, but the power to avoid anger is put in our hands by dealing with emotions and reasoning with the source of the problem.

Anger Management Strategies

Anger Management Strategies And Advice by Steve Hill

This article looks at strategies and gives advice to help people control their anger. I am sure that we all become angry from time to time and want to lash out at the people who are annoying us or who have let us down. This is course is not the answer and the article gives tips on how we should be responding to these situations.

I used to easily become angry and could not believe the way certain people were treating me. I wanted to teach them a lesson which would help them to mend their ways. The only way I could think of responding was by shouting at them, threatening them or by using violence against them.

I will give you an example of a situation where a person basically cheated me out of a large sum of money. I was looking at turning my front garden into a driveway and I had a number of people around to the house, all of which gave me a quote for the work.

I decided to accept a quote from John who seemed a very nice and trustworthy man. Him and his team spent a couple of days laying the drive during which I was keeping them well supplied with foods and drinks, we all got on very well.

He advised me not to park my car on the new drive for a few days to let it settle and become hardened. I waited a week and then drove my car onto the new driveway. To my horror the driveway dipped and I later found out from a friend that they had not put any hardcore (I think that is what it is called) down.

I tried to contact John but he did not answer his phone, I went round to see him and he would not answer his door. I became more and more angry and started to plan my revenge.

Walking away

I had many options through the courts which I could and did pursue. It was a lengthy process and John basically did not have any money to repay me despite eventually admitting responsibility.

I have now decided to let nature take its course and to walk away. This is not just from the situation above but from any similar event.

When me wife annoys me, I will just walk away to compose myself. I was once told to count to ten which is certainly a good idea. Being angry, like the way I always used to be, is not good for my health and causes me to become stressed, to become depressed and to lose sleep.

I now see people as apples in a bucket. Out of ten apples, three will be rotten. Instead of feeling angry at the rotten apples, I feel sorry for them.

I firmly believe in God and have now decided that I do not need to seek any form of revenge as he will be judge and jury on judgement day. At this stage these people will have nowhere to hide.

Living life this way is far easier for me and I only wish I had had this approach and form of anger management technique, years ago.

About the Author

Stephen Hill helps to promote a number of websites including:

stuttering treatment

phobias help

free poker tips

Anger Managements for Teens

Anger Managements for Teens by Hector Milla

As the kid comes to understand the world of being a teenager, there are many confusions and chaos, which can sometimes bring some impact to their growth. As kids make the transition, many elements can make their body and mind out of control. This may turn to anger if not guided well. Parents and teachers must educate the kids of the different transitional changes that will happen to their body.

Teens can react indifferently if they are confused. Young teens from twelve to sixteen years of age are more prone to doing things their own way because they feel that their emotions and freedom are being controlled, this results to unmanaged anger.

Teens of today's world are more prone to pressures compared to the teens of the past. They are more exposed to violence and hostility. Other teens may come from a broken home where domestic abuse are constantly present. By the time they are starting to grow, they are exposed to things like these problems, so they tend to get out of out of control. They might have angers that can be expressed in the most antisocial form. That is why sometimes, they are required to undergo anger management.

Teens may experience frustrations that drive them to do criminal acts. The best way to revive a teen from this world is to seek help from their parents, teachers and law enforcers. They can train the teen on how to respond rationally to all these stress. They can teach the teens how to identify negative feelings and practice more mature behaviors as well.

Anger management programs can also be of great help to these suffering teens. This special program teaches them to improve their behaviors in ways that are more acceptable. The will be taught on how to think positive especially if they are from families who do not show them positive responses to stressors. From this, they can now learn how to handle difficult feelings.

About the Author

Article written by Hector Milla, editor of www.depressionstreatments.com
They have recently published a free online guide Anger Managements Technique

Strategy to Dealing Anger

Strategy to Dealing Anger

Dealing with anger is important, since when we blow up in uproars we are only causing more troubles. Anger develops all over the years, while we grow to adults. We might have lived in a normal situation, but our parents may have produced some of the natural growing processes while we were children. When this happens, it affects our developing process and we may grow up missing dealing skills.

One case can be seen when a child is frequently punished as a child and rarely complimented for his or her behaviors. The parents were perhaps not aware of the damage they were causing, since the child will probably develop punishing his or her self each time a mistake is made. Most mistakes have no lasting affect on our lives, unless it is something serious.

Therefore, rather than beating your self up review your mistakes and learn from them. If you practice positive thinking you will fare better when your emotions are threatened, which means you will have control over your anger. One great way to look at anger is that it is a positive power however when it is utilized inappropriately then it is a negative power.

Either we allow our anger to control us, or we control our anger. Control is what matters to everyone, since if we do not have control then we are frustrated easy. One great coping strategy is learning self-talk. Take 15 minutes out of each day to evaluate your thoughts and talk them over with your self. If you have a series of negative thoughts, such as I am a failure. Then you want to ask your self why you are a failure.

Review all the good things you do each day and commend your self and when you see your mistakes remember everyone makes mistakes and there are probably no consequences to the mistake you made. If you get angry easy and break things, or yell and scream think of the consequences when you are reviewing your day. If you break things then you made a mess and it needs to be cleaned up.

This means you have to work an extra few minutes during the day to clean up your mess. You resolved nothing and the item you broke if of valuable would cost you when you replace it. This means you wasted time, energy and money. If you yell or scream when you are angry then you are upsetting your heart, nerves, mind, and body.
This means that in the end you may have long-term medical conditions. Now you can look at positive anger. If you take a few short breaths, you might find that your anger is unjustifiable.

On the other hand, if there is reasonable cause for your anger you might want to slow down think for a few minutes and find a way to stress your emotions without interrupting your body, mind and health. If you think about a person that throws honey instead of fueling the fire often gets further than those that blow up out of anger. If you are obsessively running through each day without slowing down then you need a coping strategy to help you deal with the stress.

It is important to set a schedule in action for your self so that you find time for you. When you pamper you then you are taking a step to coping with your anger. When you have, many tasks set up through a day then make a list of what needs done first. Do not procrastinate; rather handle one task at a time. When you finish a task, it is often smoother when handling other tasks. It is important to remember that you are a human being and that you are not people with super power..

Another great strategy is remembered that nothing is permanent. If you put your self up for failure most likely, you will fail. If you believe something will happen and later find that it did not then you set your self of for stress. Taking it one day at a time is often the best solution and repeating this over in your mind daily can help you cope with your anger.

Anger Increase With Alcohol And Drugs

Anger Increase With Alcohol And Drugs

When substance abuse is offered then we are coping with a mind that is shackled with anger. A person with an alcohol or drug problem frequently feels that the world has let them down. A person with alcohol or drug abuse often has problem coping with their emotions, anger and stress. When the person feels stress, they will often head to the liquor store or the nearby drug dealer for a fix. This is a brief answer to the problem that adds more problems to the existing issues.

Therefore, finding a more productive method for dealing with stress, emotions and anger is advisable. If you resort to alcohol or drugs for relief, you might want to realize that the world has more to offer you. Mental health services can go a long way since your problem is not directly the alcohol or drugs but an underlying source exists that links to the real problem. You probably lived a life and lacked development in your growth. You may even lack educational knowledge that helps you to see things in full light. You might even have a mental illness that is hindering your from living a productive lifestyle.

We see then that alcohol and drugs is just another problem you added to problems already in existence. If you use your resources, you might see that doctors have medications that can help you to cope with stress or mental illnesses. You might even see that there are resources available, such as anger management, help groups, and so forth that can help you find a much more effective way to deal with your anger and stress. If you feel like the world is resting on your shoulders, then you might want to review your problems carefully.

In many instances, a person has added problems to their life and is the root of their own behavioral issues. You will probably see that alcohol and drugs is playing a large part in how you behave in society. Alcohol usually makes us express our emotions freely without preservation. This opens us up to evil, since our perceptions, sound, and words are affected. This means you may misinterpret someone talking to you, flare up with anger, and possibly engage in a fight. Never take life for granted. If you believe that alcohol and drugs is the answer to your problems then you are on the road to destruction.

Life is filled with problems and we all have to face them every single day. It is how you deal with the problems that enhance your success and coping abilities. If you have difficulty managing stress then you might want to review the triggers that ignite your emotions. For example, if you are visiting associations that adhere to negative living then you can see that new friends are needed.

In fact, you will see that the association is not friends anyway. A good friend will not allow you to drive and drink, or take you to a bar if you already had too much to drink. A good friend will tell you to your face when you are doing something wrong and try to help you find a way to stop.

Alcohol and drugs only increase your chances of exploding when your emotions are threatened. You might have probable cause to strike out, but in most cases, you do not have cause at all. I hope that this helps you to see that alcohol and drugs only increase anger’s chances of opening up and extending your problems. If you are an abuser then your path is marked, since if you are caught drinking and driving you will have more problems that what you already had. If you are taking drugs then you know that someday the police will knock on your door and ask you to step outside.

Once those handcuffs go on, alcohol, drugs will be removed from the picture, and more problems will lead you to overwhelming stress, meaning you are adding something to what you could not face in the first place. There are people that care whether you can see it or not. You are not alone!

Anger Dealing Strategies

Anger Dealing Strategies

Dealing with anger is important, since when we blow up in uproars we are only causing more troubles. When a person feels upset he or she often is subject to ignite when their emotions are uncontrolled. Frustration does not take place over night; frustration takes place when underlying matters come to focus. Frustration then is an endless unrelieved sense or state of lack of confidence and anger arising from anxious problems or discontented needs.

Anger then is the feeling of anger when a person does not get their way, or a series of issues was buried waiting for the time to attack. Aggression then is a forceful act or modus operandi utilized to dominate another individual. Aggression is an argumentative, harmful or destructive behavior or viewpoint particularly when caused by frustration. Aggression can be good if our lives are in danger, but in most instances aggression causes harm.

Assertive on the other hand is an effective form of communicating your feelings to another individual without causing injury, destruction or arguments. Assertive is a strong, bold confident we have within that helps us to defend our rights when others wrong us. If we learn the difference between aggression and assertiveness we can learn good behaviors, while controlling our life and avoiding more problems. If you are frustrated, you might want to sit down and review your beliefs, opinions, theories, reasoning and so forth.

By reviewing the sources that make you angry you can reduce the tension when you see that blowing up is not worth your time or effort, since the frustrations are out of your control. For example, if you are reviewing you might see the other side and conclude that your frustration is out of order. Assertive action against another individual that has wronged you can prove more affective than blowing a fuse. We can see in one example how a person blows their fuse and what consequences he or she must face.

For example, a couple engages in an argument and a fight breaks out. One of the individuals was accused of spreading lies against the other person. The violent episode attracts the neighbors and the cops are called. When the police arrive, both parties are placed in handcuffs and both are taking to jail. Their problem increases since they both may pay fines, court cost, and possible pay probation fees. Therefore, one problem led to a series of problems and it does not stop there.

When the couple is free of all fines, costs, jail and so forth they will have a police record where everyone will judge them for the rest of their lives, viewing them as immature and violent people. Now let us look at another example were assertiveness was used in the scene. A couple confronts each other after one person spreads lies throughout the neighborhood about the other person.

The person victimized by the rumors walks up to the opponent and says, why are you telling people that I have a drinking problem? The other person might say, I did not tell anyone that you have a drinking problem. Wrong says the first person, you told my best friend who is not a liar. Well, I assumed that you had a drinking problem because you drink every time I come to your house. Because I drink every time you come to my house does not mean I have a problem. I refuse to allow you to continue dragging my name in the mud and nor will I allow you to visit my home again if you continue lying against me. Friends do not harm other friends. If you have issues with me confront me with them instead of going behind my back.

Very good job! This person did a wonderful job asserting self and the results will most likely prove fruitful. Let us see what happens. I am sorry; I did not mean to offend you. I will confront you the next time I have a problem. I am concerned however that your drinking my be a problem, since you do drink every I visit your home. Well, then let us go to my place and discuss the issue.

A Stream of Anger

Anger Manajement - A Stream of Anger

We walk through life penetrating for ways to understand how anger break up so many lives, including our own.
